Overview:

In this keynote lecture, Prof. Yousefi will explore the fundamental principles and design strategies behind nanoscale semiconductor heterostructures and their integration into high-performance photocatalytic and gas-sensing systems.

The talk will highlight recent progress achieved through innovative Z-scheme and S-scheme heterojunction architectures, addressing charge separation mechanisms, interfacial band engineering, and real-world applications in energy conversion, pollutant degradation, and smart sensing devices.
